On my blog I will be writing about 5 different topics which I am extremely passionate about: Travelling, Social Issues, Politics, Technology and Entrepreneurship.
I have been travelling the world since I was 1 year old. Travelling is one the things I am most passionate about in my life. I have been to more than 30 countries across four continents. On this blog I would be sharing my travelling experience with the rest of the world and would be trying to show you the world through my eyes. Through my travel blogs, I wish to inspire other people to travel and make their dream trips a reality. The knowledge I gained from travelling different countries and cultures and observing different people is unimaginable and cannot be taught by any book. My passion for travelling also led me to learn basics of languages such as French, Turkish, German and Arabic to make communication easier with the locals and get knowledge from them.
Just like travelling, I am very much passionate about technology and gadgets. At the age of 12, I learned about HTML and created my first website the same year. At the age of 14, I started working as a freelancer and created websites for various companies. I served as an editor for a technology magazine/blog “Silicon Pie” 5 years back. I usually like to read about latest gadgets and technology on various magazines and blogs. My favorite technology blogs are Mashable and Techcrunch. My love and passion for technology has led me to acquire the skills of programming languages like HTML, PHP, Java, C and in CMS like WordPress and Joomla. I am certified by HP as an social marketing expert. I am serving as the member of the Internet Society (ISOC). I am currently serving as the CEO of the digital media and marketing company I founded by the name of MacroHype.
3) Social Issues
I like to write and read about people, places, projects making a difference in our everyday lifes. I like giving my opinion and perspective about social and public policies. Previously my blogs/columns (letter to editors) regarding social issues have been published in various international blogs and local newspapers. I have also been a delegate at major events and represented my country in countries like
USA, UK, Netherlands, UAE, France, Turkey, Germany, Thailand and Malaysia. I have attended various United Nations high level summits and conferences. I also had the privilege of speaking at various forums around the world. I have also devoted my time in
doing social work in Pakistan for organizations such as Zindagi Trust, Edhi Foundation, international organization AIESEC for which I worked 2 months in Turkey educating young children. I have also completed an internship program at the United Nations Volunteers. In 2010 I also founded a online group/initiative along with my friends by the name of “Students of Pakistan” which won the prestigious Best Online Community award in 2011. We recently achieved the status of an NGO (Non Governmental Organization) and currently involved in Pakistan for issues like Education, Youth Empowerment, Poverty, Gender Discrimination.
Politics plays a key role in establishing peace and collaboration within and between nations by establishing rules, regulations and setting standards for expected codes of conduct. Regardless of national origin, politics influence the daily lives of citizens from all socioeconomic backgrounds, races and ethnic origins. Politics quell violence by fostering a sense of cooperation and encouraging communication and acceptance among citizens. As a political commentator I’ve appeared on several news channel around the world e.g. RT News and The Islam Channel.
Entrepreneurship has always interested me. My main source of inspiration was my father, who became an entrepreneur after quitting politics and journalism. I am currently serving as the CEO of MacroHype. I will be sharing my limited knowledge about Entrepreneurship and challenges I face every day in my business and how I handle them. I believe Entrepreneurship is a thing which can’t be taught or learned from any book. You cannot ever know about entrepreneurship until and unless you are involved in it yourself.
